Learning about small appliances

This week the 8th grade students investigated small appliances and their uses. They took a look at blenders, waffle makers, crock pots and bread makers. Students used the manuals and actual appliances to learn how to use the appliance and care for it. They also discoverd certain safety procedures to follow when using their small appliance. The students even found recipes to make. The 8th graders became experts in how to use blenders and waffle makers as they used both small appliances to make their Perfect Belgian Waffle Lab.
