Another busy week.

The 6th grade students had quite a full week. We started the week with a visit to the IMC. Students used the computers to explore the USDA interactive website at Mypyramid.gov. They were able to determine their individual calorie needs and select appropriate amounts of foods they should eat each day.

The students did a great job planning their "Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie" lab in the middle of the week. I am happy to announce that every lab had successful results. The cookies were delicious. Lab planning and clean-up keep improving, as well. I only needed to wash a few cookie sheets since they were too hot to handle.
